Shop My Closet is in the news. Today, I am one of Glamour's Best Dressed Readers. I am so honored. I would like to thank my family, friends, and my blogging buddy, Allison, for making this possible. Check it out here.
I just saw your feature over at Glamour.com (Congratulstions, btw!) and had to come check out your blog! I love your girls' style and your blog is wonderful!
Hi and thanks for doing this blog. Three years ago next month, at age 46, my life changed forever. I had weight loss surgery and went from being an always-obese person to a normal-size person. I have always been obsessed with thriftiness and now I am obsessed with dressing as cute as can be as well. I am also into green living. These three things culminate in tons o'fun shopping the whole re-wear circuit.
Only since reaching a normal size have I felt able to explore fashion, and your blog is giving me fabulous real-world ideas. I actually have a top and some black leggings to recreate the Secret Agent Man look. Thanks!
To Denise, thanks so much for sharing your story. That's really inspiring, and it certainly makes me want to blog more, share more ideas, and hopefully get followers of this blog to share their opinions and ideas for outfits. I also think it's awesome that you are into green living. Shopping your closet really allows you to look at clothes that you may have thrown away. So good luck with being thrifty and fashionable. And congratulations! Please continue to share your ideas and comments.

About this blog
This is a blog written by two girls who have all the clothes they need and can still find any excuse to buy more. Here is our attempt to save money and become more thrifty by shopping our own closets.
Disclosure:
In the interest of complete honesty, we, like you, love clothes. So, in those moments when you truly fall in love with that perfect dress or sublimely awesome heels, we say, “Go for it!” Because nothing trumps the rush of “new love.” It’s fashion law.
